LogMeIn Pro shows the (newer Dell Win8, with updated ESET security) computer as connected, but times out. (I do have all my critical files avaliable remotely through both Goodsync, and most of my non-system files through LiveDrive cloud storage)
I want direct access since this is the only computer where my newer and legacy software both work and handshake.
I thought that automatic updates may be disabling networking components, so changed everything to "ask," but I still get this situation every 10 days to 3 weeks -- most often on a Thursday or Saturday evening. This time, Saturday noon.
My other devices (home security router) remains connected (and reachable) through the Cox.net router -- even my computer is apparently connected -- just not reachable through LogMeIn Pro (or Goodsync, for that matter.)
Any experiences, thoughts, suggestions, solutions, or ideas are greatly appreciated. My computer is 400 miles and (by my current schedule) a week away.
