Remote control session in standalone viewer

I am a new LogMeIn user, coming over from GotoMyPC. Is there an option to launch a standalone viewer for the remote control session, instead of having to run a viewer inside a web browser? I find that very inconvenient. With GotoMyPC, a separate lightweight viewer window launches with the remote control session.
