Choosing a Host

Sorry for the simplistic question, but as you can see i'm a VPN novice... Is this statement correct?

I can pick a host and install "PRO" on it and have 5 (free) other PC's connect to it and collaborate? Trying to collaborate with my daughters at school and also remotlry help with computer problems...
