Uninstall/Hide Client from Workstation

We deploy LogMeIn via Group Policy to all workstations within our origanziation. We also have it set to Update to the latest version when connected.

However, this latest update also installs the Client and now I have numerous calls regarding "This new software" that we installed.

Is it possible to NOT install the client, deploy a MSI without the Client, hide the client, or have it uninstall and leave just the program.

We have a deployment link and msi but I'm not seeing anywhere where there is a selection to turn this off. Are you opening the msi and rewriting code?

Yes I managed to get it to work.
You have to use an Msi then use that parameter. It looks like it still gets installed but is hidden from the user. We can thank Shaun with logmein support for that one.

I spoke to support last night. There is an Mai parameter called forcesshowclient that might work. If I get it working I will let you know. I am evaluating the product right now and this is a big part ofvthevevaluation.

I have not and I'm really starting to think that no one from LMI even reads these things.

There is absolutly no reason at all for it to be installed. Actually it is really undesireble!
