I log in on my desk top PC (Win 7) and my computers that were listed are missing. I log in from my laptop (Win 7) and they are there. Why did they disappear from my desktop computer. Please help.
Hi @hubcapbrian
Since the Client settings for viewing your computer list are localized to each computer, can you check that they are both set to show All? If Online is selected you will only see the computers that are currently online. If you entered a letter in the search field, it will only display computer names that include that letter. From a quick look at your account, there are a couple offline currently.
Well this is pretty sad. The original post 4 years ago got no answer and here I am with the exact same problem. When I launch LogMeIn Client on my Macbook I now only see one computer, there's a half dozen or so machines that should be there that are missing. I can log in to the lone machine in the list just fine but now I have to drive to the worksite to log into the missing machines. I launched the client on one of the work computers and it sees all of the others.
The smoking gun is the machines went missing after I launched LogMeIn client and I was prompted about installing a new version, which I did: Version 4.1.6934 (PlugIn: 1.0.1957) That might have nothing to do with it, but it's all I got. :smileymad:
If ANYBODY has any helpful hints, I would appreciate it.
I dont have a fix, but i would absolutely love an answer.
Im very much not enjoying my user experience with this product.
I install on many PC's and log in and do the usual name and password and link to my account...
then sucess i'm logged in and accessible.
So i power down the machine, package it up and send it out for deployment.
Only to then try and log in to it the next day and every couple of PC's are missing.
I load the dashboard on the pc, and they have correct displaynames, and etc, and say that they are online and accessible....
BUT THEY ARE NOT, listed in my PC's anywhere!
WHAT THE HELL. this program is expensive and at this point extremely not helpful, because we have to send techs in person to do something we pay for the ability to do remotely.
Has anybody else encountered this problem???
Somebody please fix and/or HELP!
