Computer renamed. No connection

Hi, unfortunately one of my computers provided with Logmein Pro has beeen stolen. I managed in connecting to it, but since it was renamed I am no longer able to log in.

The previous name was: Macbook air di Fulvio Migliaccio. The new one: Mac book air di Fulvio Migliaccio.local

Is it possible to rename the device into my list? Does the .local suffix affect connection?
