Hyper-V VM - LMI connects but drops within 2 minutes

I am running a WIN7 (Home Premium) VM on Server 2012 R2 Hyper-v. I can connect to the Win7 using LMI, but within a few minutes the connection drops.

In the LMI Remote Client the machine still shows as online. The same issue happens when I try to backup to the win 7 VM

UP-Date - this looked like an issue with the drivers not being the latest. One way to test is to start a local session on the Hyper-V machine and connect to a VM. From the VM try to download a large file. In my case the download would start, go to about 200 Kb/s and then slow down to 0 KB/s.

I concluded that this was a case where the NIC was unable to hold a connection open or was super-loaded. I downloaded the latest drivers from Realtek and ran the same test. It passed, and I was also able to download a 4 gig file in 16 minutes.

Now my connection is working and open for the last 10 minutes. Perviously the conn dropped in under 5 minutes.
