Share local modem with remote computer

Is it possible to share a modem connected to my local computer with the computer I am using LogMeIn to connect to?

I have a program I am running on the remote computer which occasionally needs to use a modem but I do not have a modem connected to the remote computer. (It's a long story and will be remedied soon)

I have a modem at my local computer and would like to give the remote computer access to it.

Is this possible?
