Entry Point Not Found

Trying to access a remote computer via logmein. Remote computer shows off line. Error on remote computer says:

"Logmein.exe Entry Point Not Found. The procedure entry point Get Logical Processor Information could not be located in the dynamic link library Kernall32.dll."

Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Im glad it worked for you as well.

You must have "install updates automatically" in LogMeIn - its just a box you can uncheck.

rayray1982, thank you very much for the information. Your fix worked for me as well. I had to download dot net 4 software via microsoft downloads to each computer. Had to uninstall KB925877 before applying dot net software. Had to create ISO for SP3 and install that way as SP3 would not install directly via Automatic Updates. Did not need to uninstall LogMeIn. We eventually transferred WIC, dot net 4 and SP3 to a thumb drive and all installed much quicker especially SP3.

LogMeIn should not apply updates automatically in an enterprize environment. Updates need to be controlled by the business IT departments.

If you have LogMeIn installed all you need to do is install XP Service Pack 3, reboot the computer and LogMeIn will show online again.

I got my 5 locations fixed - these 5 computers have Windows Xp SP2.

1.) Stop all Logmein services

2.) Uninstall Logmein

3.) Reboot your computer

4.) Go to Regedit and delete LogMeIn inc. folders in local machine/software and current users/software

5.) Delete Program Files\LogMeIn folder

6.) Install Windows Imaging Component (WIC) software

7.) Install DOTNET 4 software

8.) Install XPSP3

9.) Reboot

10.) Install Logmein.exe

**SIDE NOTE I Had to go through all of these steps because I uninstalled LogMeIn already trying different ways to fix this issue

**Im assuming if you still have LogMeIn installed you just need to install XPSP3 reboot and LogMeIn will work again.

The Log File shows "unable to load library" C:\Program Files\LogMeIn\X86\LogMeIn.DLL ERRORCODE:127

I am receiving this same error at 5 of my locations - did you find a fix?

I personally think it has to do with the latest LogMeIn update and these 5 locations of mine have Windows XP SP2.

Please let me know if you hear of a fix
