Display Resolution Limitations on a VPS

Hi,

I am having the same problem as described in this post, which got no solutions: https://community.logmein.com/t5/Pro/Cannot-Match-Resolution/m-p/127679#M6196

I have installed LogMeIn to control some VPS servers which are running Windows 7. If I use Windows RDP to control the server I can access resolution of up to 1920x1080, but with LogMeIn the maximum resolution only goes up to 1024x768. How come? It works fine with physical computers, but whenever used with a VPS I have this issue, no matter the provider of the VPS. Does LogMeIn not work as well with VPS'es?
