After several years with no problems, suddenly remote printing won't work. Have checked all settings, both host and client. Have tried troubleshooting both. I am on the client computer. Here is what happens:
1. About two minutes after accessing the host computer, the usual message appears that says something like "remote printer is now connected." All looks normal.
2. I open QuickBooks (or Excel, or whatever) and select print. My printer (....via logmein) is there and I select it. All looks normal.
3. I click print and the following happens:
Host computer printer dialog box: status immediately says "deleting".
Client computer printer dialog box: status immediately says "spooling".
4. Nothing happens, nothing prints.
Hopefully this will ring a bell with someone who has run into it. January is the WORST time for a bookkeeper to be without printing capabilities!
