I am using the free trial of Logmein pro and before I purchase I want to figure out a problem. When my computer at home (iMac) goes to sleep, it shows as offline and I cannot remotely access it. I understand that logmein has a wake on LAN feature, but as I have one computer that I want to access from places other than my house, waking from another device on my local network does me no good. I need to know if there is a way to wake the computer up over the internet. I have read message boards that suggess using a website that sends the magic packet (where you enter in IP adresses, host names, subnet masks, etc.) and it sends the magic packet. I do not want to do this for various reasons, one of which is that it seems with all of these solutions, you have to leave a port open in the router. Does logmein support a way, through the logmein, to wake up over the internet?
