Encountered and issue that when logging into a Server 2003R2 x32 that my number keypad no longer will work. I've taken the check mark out of "lock keyboard" and no joy. Been since the last update.

This is an issue we are looking into.
In the Options menu while in Remote Control, you should have a Keyboard setting on the left side. Set this to Client.

I am also having this problem on a new Windows 7 pc. There is no keyboard option when i open the remote connection. The black toolbar above the remote window has from left to right, Menu, Full Screen, Screen Size, Ctrl-alt-del, and Advanced. No keyboard option under Advanced. "Menu" drops down and there is an "options" choice there but there are only four choices and none of them are keyboard.
Can you help? I do a lot of data entry remotely and it is mostly numbers. Do you think a separate usb keypad would work?

To do so, please remote into the computer you wish to access and from the remote control taskbar (black ribbon) that floats at the top of the screen, please click on Options, Keyboard (drop down) and select 'Use Client Layout'.

Hi, had the same problem and it started yesterday afternoon for some reason.
I don't seem to have the "Client" choice - on the left hand side I have the choice of Lock Keyboard or Send Special Key Combinations. Choosing Lock Keyboard didn't make any difference.
