I've found a Screen dimming bug on laptops running Windows. When LogMeIn Pro or Free is installed, the backlight dimming feature is disabled. I have been able to narrow it down to a few laptop models.Lenovo G series (G575)HP EliteBook 8560 seriesWhen LogMeIn is installed these machines cannot dim or brighten their displays. Whatever it was set to before LogMeIn was installed becomes permanent. The screen dimming keystrokes and on-screen controls in the control panel have no effect.Note that I have also found this bug does not happen on certain models of the Acer Aspire One netbooks.
