I've used Logmein for a few years and never had a problem I could not resolve until now.
I have an iMAC with OS X 10.8.4. Everything was working great until this weekend. But now when I remote control to a host machine Logmein disconnects within 10 seconds. This started after I installed the Apple update "Java for OS X 2013-004" and "Office 2011 14.3.5 update" installed on June 22 2013. Nothing else, to my knowledge, has changed.
Other testing I have done
- Does not work from Safari 6.0.5 or Firefox 16.0.2 from OS X. These use to work
- Works ok from a Windows XP laptop seperate from the iMAC
- Works OK on the iMAC inside VMWare Fusion running Windows 7 using a bridged connection. Browser is IE10
- Removed and re-installed plugins makes no difference
So the only thing that stopped working is access from OS X browsers
Anyone else having this issue? Or have a solution?
