Uninstall Script

I didn't find what I was looking for in the Search Forums, and I actually spent some time looking!

I use a few floating Reach subs when I have a Rescue client that is on a slow or WiFi connection.

I'll use Rescue to log into my Reach account, then hit an install over the website, then use Reach when the Rescue bombs out, either due to a zombie reboot or some other issue. I can't be calling the client every 30 minutes asking them to run the calling card again.

So when it's time to clean up after myself, I use Reach to run Rescue, so I will have a second remote control window, then use Rescue to uninstall Reach, since uninstalling Reach while using it doesn't fare too well, then End the Rescue session and quit the system.

I'm looking for an uninstall script or command line to completely remove, even if it's upon a reboot, the entire Reach client without using Add/Remove, and without hanging the Remote Control window once the application is killed.

You can try this command line parameter for uninstalling LogMeIn IT Reach which will remove LogMeIn completely...

"path of msiexec.exe"/quiet /x path of logmein msi

For example:

"c:\windows\system32\MSIEXEC.exe"/quiet /x c:\Program files\LogMeIn\logmein.msi "

Path of misexec.exe =c:\windows\system32\MSIEXEC.exe

Path of LogMeIn.msi package

'quiet' stand for silent uninstallation.

'x' stand for uninstalling
