Hello, is it somehow possible to personalize the automatically generated mails? Is the use of placeholders for name, date, etc. possible?Thank you
Have the ability to add hyperlinks (including emails) to G2W follow-up emails so recipients don't have to copy+paste into browsers. Removes element of friction for them.
Bump. Would be great if we could hyperlink our own text, customize font, colours, and size, and all the other things you can do for example when posting in this community forurm.
Bump. This post is six years old. Just wondering if GTW now allows users to change the font in the registration page?
Would it be possible to make the formatting in the follow-up e-mails a little more consistent, perhaps in coordination with a marketing team for design purposes?
Some problem areas we and clients have noted:
We really appreciate the robustness of GoToWebinar and the excellence of your customer service. Keep up the great work!
We would like to change the design of the emails sent through the Webinar tool. This includes reminder emails, follow-up emails and registration confirmation emails. Currently it is only possible to add a logo of our company in the middle of the upper part of these emails. Our goal is to adapt the design to our invitation emails, which have a proper header, as they are send out via out marketing automation software.
@damienwong I'm afraid this is not possible without sending your own emails through another system. Here are some integration partners that may be able to help further if you decide to do this: https://www.gotomeeting.com/integration-marketplace
Hi,
I would like to know how I can change the fonts (type and size) in the registration pages, emails, etc.
Thank you,
Damien
We set registration limits, for each webinar, we only allow 4k registrants and we also use pardot form as our webinar registration. The problem we have is once we reach the registrants limit, if we use pardot form, there is no way to let registrants know the webinar is full. Can we use our own HTML webinar confimation email to let people know the webinar is full. Or can we pull info from GoToWebinar and show it on thank you page to let people know the webinar is full. Thanks
Take a look at this document, which includes all the customization options available: https://support.logmeininc.com/gotowebinar/help/customize-your-webinar-g2w020002
Thanks! Do you happen to have links to support documentation on how to accomplish those things?
You do have the ability to include custom messaging, and also custom disclaimers when sending confirmation / reminder emails through GoToWebinar. This is a setting available for each webinar you schedule.
You may also disable emails for specific webinars if that is your preference.
Can I customize automated email content? If not, can I turn all of the automated messages off?
I apologize for the lack of language translation options. We will work to add more flexibility in the future.
I see i can write in Bulgarian but header and footer is in English and I can't change it. This is very annoying and I can see people are reporting this thread since 2014 and you didn't do anything to fix it. This shows how you care about the customer opinion. How do you feel if someone send you an email in English and then start speaking in Russian f.x. and then finish again in English. This is very unprofessional and you makes us look bad infront of our customers! Whoever is responsible for this should be FIRED and never be hired again
Hello Hristo,
While the GoToWebinar email templates do not currently support Bulgarian, you are welcome to write in some custom text in the reminder emails and follow-ups.
For web developers themselves, API tools are also available to create your own email communications from scratch.
Hello,
How do I remove or edit the header and footer of the webinar. I want to write in Bulgarian not English. Now it looks very unprofessional to be in two languages especially with that A4 format footer.... Please help
Regards,
Hristo
Hi Koen,I apologize, the formatting of the email text can only be completely customized if you utilize some API programming with your own email provider. For more information on this, you may visit our Integrations Marketplace, Developer Center or work with some third party providers like Zapier to assist:
Since there are only a few languages to choose from I would like to completely change the text of the confirmation mail. It should not be so hard to create an option to ONLY enter personal text and leave out all the GoToWebinar instructions. In this way I could translate it myself.
Hi Phil,While you cannot currently edit the typeface or general layout for the GoToWebinar attendee email templates, ou can customize the email that is sent to your attendees at different stages of the webinar process, this support article explains how: https://support.goto.com/webinar/help/customize-emails-for-webinar-registrants-g2w110012
** Currently you can only create your own email communications through API integrations, which can be provided by third party providers if you do not have development options yourself.
Hi Karen, I'm sorry no, you can not change the font or it's size at this time. Do you happen to use a very high resolution monitor, because the current font size is a standard 9.
The only way to send your own templates would be through a third party provider such as Zapier (which utilize the developer GoToWebinar APIs): https://www.gotomeeting.com/integration-marketplace
