Just like I receive emails when someone registers for a webinar, I would like to receive an email when they cancel registration. If I only have 1 registrant, it would be nice to know if they cancelled so I can free up my calendar.
I receive email notifications when a person registers for a webinar, after which I am required to approve or deny the request.
I would like to see a notification of when a person cancels their request, as it is easier to track the correct number of registrants, and I don't have to scroll through the entire list to see which participant has cancelled. I am required to report on the registrants for each of my webinars multiple times prior to the actual webinar. This would save me time from scrolling each time someone cancels.
Additionally, I would like to be able to delete the registrant once they cancel, to keep my number accurate at all times.
Regards,
Steve Denison

Enhancement Request: Notification of Registration Cancelations.
It would be beneficial to be notified in real-time of any registration cancelations or to have the option to turn notifications on for those that click the "Cancel Registration" button in the GTW webinar Reminder emails.
Currently, we don't notice it until just before the event or after the event concludes, which is not ideal.
We offer paid online live seminars via GoToWebinar and need to know the exact time of cancellation for cancellation costs.
Only on the basis of the registration status can we see how many participants have cancelled and then create the registration report. Unfortunately, this report does not indicate the exact time of cancellation.
A setting for us as organizers analogous to the registration confirmation by e-mail would be a "simple" solution. Will nothing be done about this from their side in the future?
Hi Paula,
While we do not currently have the ability to notify organizers when someone registers to watch a recording, you might be able to trigger this if you save the original registration link from the webinar you recorded to the cloud, and if that scheduled event had selected to send late-registrants to the recording post-broadcast.
We have several GTW recordings (product demos, expert webinars) on our website and want to get notifications when someone registers to watch them by email.
1) I have turned on registration notifications for the webinar but this doesn't work. I think it only tracks initial sign ups for the event, not post event sign ups to watch the recording.
2) I can go in manually and download the csv but that means a delay - even if we set up a process of once per day reviewing sign ups and taking appropriate action (customer, prospect, existing lead, generic) it's cumbersome and time wasting - we still have to go in and check daily even if no activity.
3) We have email notifications for GTW for recordings, for reminders already going into our lead gen system. I just want the same thing when someone registers to watch a recording. Any ideas other than Zapier (frankly I wonder if Zapier would even work).
THANKS!

Hi @Steuertipps
I'm sorry but GoToWebinar does not have this functionality and I am not aware of any plans to add it.
@AshC I understand that approach. But why is the administrator not informed? I just want to have an email that the participant cancelled.
@Steuertipps Cancellations by registrants is a security requirement. The request to remove registrant data by the recipient is also one that we must abide by for privacy reasons. If things should change in the future, we will definitely update the Community here with new functionality.
hi,
if a customer cancels a webinar about the functions in Go-To-Webinar, then I don't get any information about it as administrator. Unfortunately, the comparison with the registration list is not enough for me. I absolutely need the information by e-mail.
Would it be a problem to store this information via the admin's e-mail address?
Or is it perhaps possible to switch off the cancellation via the built-in functional areas, e.g. in the confirmation e-mail?
Thank you!
@BethanyM I am sorry, there is not a notification setting currently when GoToWebinar Registrants cancel.
Hello,
We had an attendee that pre-registered for a webinar and cancelled approximately 30 minutes before the start of our webinar. However, our admin account did not receive a notification of the cancellation. We were only able to know that the participant had cancelled because we can rechecked the registration list. - Is it possible to turn on or activate notifications for cancelleations?
Our Organization hosts multiples webinars daily and carefully monitors attendance for tracking purposes.
Thank you for your help and any ideas that may be applicable!
Hi Melissa,There must be a way for Attendees to cancel their registration due to various email and privacy rules we have to follow. Sorry if this is an inconvenience in some way.
I would like to see this as well!
