Logging In Issues With Two Different Browsers

Hello, I'm new here,

Thought I would start a new Topic not sure if there is one all created didn't notice in system . I recently tried logging into my LastPass PW manager today was unable to so. This has happen to me in the past. This is the support ticket I sent to LastPass

I'm a paid member and just recently I tried logging into site/account unsuccessful indeed. I did not change password or user and I do know my one Password to get into account. I've tried two different browsers Firefox and Brave same thing related. Is the problem on your side I ask.

Does anybody know if this has happen to them or somebody else and is this a problem on LP there side? After I sent a support ticket into LP, I would say in about 10 mins the sites started working again and accepting Pass Words as usual. This is very unusual to say the least. I was able to enter Pass Words again. I kept getting errors when signing in PW is wrong however not so I do know own PW;

I have been using Last Pass Free for a Couple of Years now with no issues - With my Normal Master PW, which I have Recorded in my Business Book - suddenly a few months back, I noticed that my LP Vault was not poppingup as usual when I was signing in to Businesses I deal with and hold my PW for them on LP.

I was too busy to go into this untill a few days ago - when I tried to Log In with my Normal PW, it was rejected - I have tried all of the means sent to me by LP and nothing has worked for me to Recover my Account.

May I Note again, that my Normal PW is Recorded in my Business Reference Book, so, What I have Typed as a PW, about 25 times at least, in this Event, CANNOT Be Wrong.

One thing I did note however, was a Message that popped up stating the PW Extension in and in Chrome had Failed - I have not changed these Browsers since I first started with LP & I use either Browser - What is this about??? Perhap similar to what another User was having when he commenced this Post - I think it may have been Stormkeepr and Gonvo DeGonzo or some thing like that.

To me it seems that LP has for some reason, LOST my Account Details, so, a Refresh just might get it back.

If it is a Problem with the Browser Extension for Edge and Chrome, how come I have NOT encountered this issue previously, as this PC works about 12 hours a day, and most of my work is done through both Edge and Chrome.

I do not want to go through the process and Starting again with a New Account, as I have a high number of PWs stored in LP.

Is it possible to have LP Refresh my Account and see if it miraculously comes to life and, I would like an Explanation as to what caused these Two Issues I have had.

After this, I could not think of paying Money for such a system, that cannot be Recovered, by an Internal Process or, does one get that Speciasl Process when the have a Paid Account. Cheers, Nasho23

When trying to log in to LastPass what error message do you see? If you see an error that says "Review your login info and try again. If you think you entered valid info, check your email to verify the login." please check your email (including Junk/Spam/All Mail folders) as you may need to verify this login via an email message.

I'm logged in now! It turns out it was an error with an update to my master pass not being saved.

I still don't know why my original password stopped working, but regardless - this had prompted me to update my master password. The first time I tried this, I got an error message, so I tried again with yet another new one and this time it looked like it went through. I got an email confirmation saying I'd updated successfully. But then when I tried again to log into my computer, none of the passwords worked and I got locked out. Hours later when my husband was available, I had him try for his phone and for whatever reason, he was able to access the password hint even when I was no longer able to on my phone or computer. The hint finally showed us that it was the "erred" second password that saved instead of the seemingly successful third password. I'm in! I've been happy with Last Pass for a few years now so I'm just going to chock this up to a case of the Tuesdays. Thank you to those of you who messaged me with suggestions!

Similar situation. All of a sudden, I couldn't log in to Lastpass today. Nothing changed on my end, no new password, no new computer, it just suddenly doesn't let me log in. Seems like some kind of reset on the Lastpass side worked of the OP; may I please get this tried for my account as well?

A quick update to last message--Just an update Last Pass had to refresh my account on their side which resolved the issue so far on both browsers so it was them..

I'm not sure if you have seen my reply to your private message yet, but there is no LastPass account with the email address you provided, which would explain why you are unable to sign in with it.

I Truly understand if you have an account try going to www.twitter.com they have support on there and sometimes their much faster..I'm experiencing the same thing again right now can't get into account..

Thank you, they wouldn't tell me a thing and this has happen to me before just when I really needed to use it. Always on the customer side and i know better i do have some IT experience. I just have to find another way around so I have the PW's with me at all times. Don't like the csv excel version to download need to find another program. As I am writing this the same thing is happening again right at this moment!

I am having the same experience. My password no longer worked this morning. I thought I made an error so I changed my master pass through account recovery. But then that password doesn't work either. Now I'm kicked out of all devices and when I try to do account recovery, I am now told that account recovery is not enabled on my account. I'm panicking a bit because some googling says that without account recovery, I could lose my whole account. I emailed customer support but haven't heard back yet. My account type should be eligible for phone support but I've spent 30 minutes trying to find the phone number and can't find it. Does anyone know the phone number to talk to a person? I can't work until I'm able to log back into my account...

Same thing happened to me just now (6pm, UK). Google told me there had been a LastPass outage so I left it half an hour - but not before trying every installed browser multiple times! Very disconcerting!
