Hi, As part of ISO27001 the logging, monitoring and alerts of failed authentication attempts should be made available for auditing. LogMeIn allows you to view your own logins, including failed logins, and even sends an alert to your email address, however, as part of reviews, we cannot see other users failed login…
When logging on to a remote computer with Logmein Central, Logmein automatically mutes the remote computer. This should be an option in the Logmein Client/Central: "Mute remote client when logging on: true/false". The automatic muting as it functions now is causing a lot of issues.
We have computers at end customers that are primarily serviced by a local dealership that logs in remotely. When the local dealership cannot solve a problem we log in to try and solve it. It would be very beneficial if at that time the dealership could still be logged in as well (view only) so they can see what we do.
LogMeIn (LMI) apparently currently does not support wake on LAN (WoL) functionality for any computer which uses "Modern Standby". Here's a link to Microsoft's website for some background info. According to this document from Dell (link), Dell will no longer support disabling Modern Standby. So that appears to indicate that…
Hello. I work for a managed services company and we have a team of IT technicians who use the web based and LMI client to connect to client computers and servers. During a recent team meeting, we came up with a scenario whereby a compromised IT technician's computer with the LMI Client (for example) still logged in has…
Sub-Groups Currently, each customer is a group. This works well enough. Some have a great many endpoints. Would be great if I could Sub-Group "Accounting" under "Customer-1". They could read like: [Customer-1.Accounting] AcctReceivable AcctPayable Invoicing AcctMgr [Customer-1.Production] South Mix Room North Mix Room Dry…
It would be great to have quick-access buttons to our remote control sessions to streamline file transfers and system reboots. This would greatly improve efficiency, especially for users with limited technical expertise. Benefits: - Saves time - Easy to use - Reduces errors - Boosts productivity
I do appreciate having good tools like LogMeIn. I do wish I did NOT have to always "see" and constantly avoid clicking these two rarely used and oversized buttons: "Upgrade Now" & "HELP". Neither is helpful during daily usage.
I would like to suggest to not make the remote printer the default printer during a Central remote session. I like having the option to print to my printer, but it should not be the default printer. Let the default printer on the host remain the same during a remote session. Thanks.
When creating an alert package, the particular alert being configured might not need acknowledging as we use the emails to feed into another system, for example, when an external hard disk is added. We only need to know this info, but do not want to go into the console each time. Can we add an option to the alert packages…
