Deploying Unattended Access

We recently purchased LogMeIn Rescue with the intent to setup unattended access on several clients PCs. Is it possible to install unattended access without first connecting to a support session? It would be very beneficial for us to be able to distribute an .msi through Group Policy or even put an executable file on a flash drive and go around to each computer. If either of the previous ways are unavailable, would it be possible to distribute a URL that would install unattended access on each PC without any intervention needed on our end?

I'm sorry if I have overlooked a previous post addressing this issue, but a search on the forums did not show any recent discussion on this topic. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your question!
In the current design it is impossible to install unattended access without first connecting to a support session.
But the fastest way would be if you use Connect on Lan instead of using PIN based private applets.
In that case you don't have to restart the applet in System Service mode, and there is no need to interact on the client side as well. Just make sure that the clients and the technician are in the same LAN or VPN.

I also have this question so I hope someone will answer it. I have a lot of end user workstations that I need to setup unattended access on. Sitting in front of the client computer with my laptop is doable, it is just time consuming.

My challenge is that I support workstations over a large geographical area so I need to have this setup before I deploy the machines. Thank you for any help you can offer.

At this moment, the intention behind the Unattended Access portion of Rescue is to provide subsequent access to a computer that you are currently servicing.

Currently, the only product we have that can function on a no-touch, pre-install basis is LogMeIn Free/Pro.
