Re: Regarding. Getting disconneted from LogMeIn Rescue!

I am getting a slightly different issue where a message on the chat console is stating "Invalid Certificate" & is disconnecting the client before they are connected. If I ping logmeinrescue.com I get this response.

We have flushed the DNS as previiously posted. Please can anybody offer any assistance.

Hi Sean,

I work in the IT Department. We have run a SSL Cert scanner on www.logmeinrescue.com & it comes back as valid with a host IP of 77.242.193.201. Any other ideas

Not much more in the way of information, check with your IT group for and ssl scanning device.

We have ruled out a time-sync issue as we don't get error 13. Do have any more info on the man-in-the-middle attack?

Sorry Paul, had to pull this one to its own thread as it is not the same issue.

Cert errors are caused routinely by one of two things:

An incorrect Date/Time (provides error 13)

Device on your network is injecting itself into our certificate (man-in-the-middle attack)
