Can remote view host keystrokes?

I just went through a LogMeInRescue session with a company. At one point I had to enter my password. I trust the program where I had to enter my password, but immediately after doing so, I wondered if the tech support person could view and/or record my keystrokes.

Is there any way that they could have intercepted my password?
