Start Console communication error with LogMeIn Rescue

Hi All,

My Colleague is having an error with his LogMeIn Rescue and it is preventing him from working. He uses Rescue in his browser (Internet Explorer) and he gets this error:

Host site: secure.logmeinrescue.com

Start Console communication error. Error code (4), Last error (122).

I'm struggling to find information on this error, so if anyone could give me any info that would be fantastic!

The desktop version of Rescue is having the same problem, and it doesn't work in any browser that we have tried (Google Chrome, Firefox).

I get the same error. Issue can be fixed when you reset your IE including deleting personal settings. But my issue is the company IT removed that option. So i just delete all the browsing history and click on restore advace settings. then restart the computer. If im lucky doing it once does the trick. But sometimes even after 5 such procedures, still the same issue. Time to find another workstation. its so irritating and time consuming

I'll try what you have suggested on Monday and report back. It's such a strange issue. We have 70 workstations here, all identical, and something has gone wrong with just this one. Hopefully your method fixes it
