Mac OS X Rescue Console File Manager Local DOS?

I was just recently informed that there's finally a technician console for Mac OS X, so I installed. It didn't take long before I needed to transfer files. But when I opened the File Manager, I discovered that it only shows DOS style drives (specifically C:, Y:, and Z:) for my local machine, containing only standard Windows directories and not showing any of my Mac drives, directories, or files.

Besides being useless, this definitely triggered a "What the…?!?"

Note: Console Pro works correctly through the Mac desktop client.

Is this a bug or some sort of bizarre misconfiguration? What is going on here?

PS. How do I choose a screen name on this board?

Thanks Katie,

I will look deeper into what the drive letters are showing me the next time I use it.

There is no "Username" field or tab under My Settings->Personal Profile for me. Just Email, Personal Information, and IM Screen Names tabs. None of them have a Username field.

Thank you for your question.

The Y drive represents the Mac root directory of the currently logged in Mac user. The Z drive represents the root directory of the whole Mac file system.

To change your username in the LogMeIn Community, click My Settings>Personal Profile>Username.
