Several weeks ago, a new version of the LMI Rescue desktop app was relesed, and since then it has crashed constantly on Windows 8.1. I have noticed 3 specific behaviors:
1) Opening the app stalls, and never connects to LogMeIn or displays the new home screen when the app opens. In this situation, you must end the process in Task Manager.
2) The app loads, and you can click on the "New Session" button, but the option to generate a new code never activates. In this situation, you must close/re-open the app.
3) During a session, the Rescue app will stop responding. In this situation, you must end the process in Task Manager.
I would say that one of these behaviors occurs 20% of the time I use the app. Any advice to improve performance? I have already configured the app to run as an admin, and in Windows 7 compatibiility mode.
