We have been using LogMeIn for several years and have recentely decided to move to LogMeInRescue.
All is great except for trying to log onto remote machines (unattended) with the Windows Username and Password.
We have laptops returned to us (from our field agents) and then they are updated etc. and sent out to another agent.
The username is changed in Windows Control Panel to that of the new agent and the password is changed but it's essentially the same user on the laptop.
It would seem that Windows only changes the display name of the user and not the actual username, so the 'new' username and password combination wont allow access.
This was never a problem on the original (installed) version of LogMeIn and I was wondering if there was any way around this issue on LogMeInRescue.
I have suggested that we can create a new Admin that can then switch accounts once we are logged in but I have been told (by my boss) that this isnt viable as then we would be logging in twice.
I'd be really greatful for any insights or ideas that you might have.
