support-logmeinrescue.exe not using my proxy

I have a support provider that users Logmeinrescue. I download the support-logmeinrescue.exe app ant try to connect.

This application seems to ignore that I have a proxy server that is required to get to the internet.

I already added the Logmein whitelist sites to my proxy server but the applicatiion is refusing to use the proxy.

I tried to use netsh winhttp to set my proxy server instead of Direct, but this is also ignored by the application.

What can I do?

@markus-r I know it can be tricky working with proxy servers, but they should still be able to complete a white-listing of our urls: https://support.logmeininc.com/rescue/faq/whitelisting-and-logmein-000055442

Hi,

we have the same issue here. We have licenced the tool to support our customers and they cannot use the support-logmeinrescue.exe with their proxy solutions.

After downloading, the support-logmeinrescue.exe the app tries to directly connect to the public/official IP address of secure.logmeinrescue-enterproise.com in the Internet (e.g. 64.95.129.103).
Support-logmeinrescue.exe seems to ignore that some customers have a PAC file and a proxy server in place, required to get to the Internet.
