Rescure Desktop will not load on Mac (Yosemite) - freezes during verify

I am unable to load the LogMein-Rescue.app on both my Macs.

In each case, the fault is the same, it freezes during the launch process, displaying a dialog box that says

Verifying "LogMein-Rescue.app"...

Both computers are similar in that they are running MacOS 10.10.5 and have more than 10GB of free space.

I have reviewed the article titled

System Requirements for LogMeIn Rescue

and my machines comply with this document.

Has anyone had the same problem ? Have you got a work around ?

Do you have a solution to this? It also happens to my MAC (maverick). I'm not sure where to start to fix this. Thanks for any answer that could help.
