Video recordings - how many minutes of training is 2GB?

I am almost finished evaluation of GTT but I'm still perplexed on this 2GB issue of online storage for MP4 videos.

I assume it will depend on the size of the trainers display (screen) and the amount of movement possibly on screen along with the amount of audio as well?

But from over there - is there any ballpark figure on how many megabytes one minute of online video hosted on your cloud server might be since your encoding will be different to mine over here.

My obvious question is based around how many minutes 2GB will store since I’ve been really sold on the online storage facility – but immediately worried this is way too small for approximately 8 days of recorded videos per month and don't fancy messing around re-encoding and uploading onto our servers to avoid hitting the 2GB limit.

This storage amount is extremely small and pretty much blows out the functionality.

I upload the videos manually, but that's not a problem. You can also share private links to the videos and hide them from other Vimeo users.

Can I ask - are you somehow integrating GTT to automatically to post to Vimeo ... or is this a manual process?

We're using Vimeo Pro as video storage for our (200) webinars.

Hi Jon,
In general, a 1 hour recording could be from 100-200 MB in size, depending on how much audio/video information is sent during the live broadcast. Should you need additional storage space, you might consider a customized Corporate GoToTraining contract (annual commitment), or trying out GoToWebinar's Online Recording, which has more functionality and capacity.
