Software opens or jumps to screen 2 only.

I have a dual monitor system at work and single at home and when traeling. When I connect to Gotomypc and open programs, they will jump to the second screen, so its very tedious to go back and forthe from screens 1 & 2, activate programs, then back to page 2 for user mode, then back to page 1 fto activate program, etc.

Our IT department noted there is nothign they can do.

What are my options?

Could you specify what operating system the host is running, and how each monitor is connected physically?

Further details, I can access both monitors, by mousing over the line or using the arrows to move screens.

what ahppens is, when I pen a program, it seems indifferent which progra, it may open on monitor 1 or 2, but as soon as I activate it, by simply selecting it with my mouse, it'll physically move the program from monitor 1 to monitor 2, it jumps to the second monitor, which I then have to navigate to the second monitor. I want the programs to stay on the monitor to which they open. Once they jump, I cannot move them back to monitor 1, one can try to move with the mouse, straddle the monitors, but as soon as you release the mouse, the program screen will jump to the seocnd montor.

Hi Dagsoh,

If the problem is that you prefer to start on the screen of monitor #1, have you tried making this your primary monitor through windows?

If you mean that you cannot access the second monitor at all, have you tried looking for the tab button to access multiple, unseen monitors directly on the GoToMyPC Viewer window frame?
