toll-free number for attendees

Help!

I am unfamiliar with this platform and I am deciding what to purchase. There is an add-on fee to provide toll free numbers for your attendees. WE are a non-profit so I would like to keep the cost down. Our callers will all be within the United States (99% will be in North Carolina). I am assuming I don't need to purchase this option.

Any advice from someone who is familiar with GoToWebinar?

Hi AshC,

We tend to have several international attendees (outside of North America) on our webinars and one of them asked for a toll free number to call in. We just switched from Webex for our webinars and with Webex we had this option.

I checked the Pricing page for our plan (Starter) and it says "Toll Free" is included - https://www.gotomeeting.com/webinar/pricing. Is there a way to enable this? It doesn't seem that it's an extra expense?

Hi AMK,

You don't 'need' toll-free unless you are encouraging / marketing to audiences that you believe may not have a telecom of their own that provides long distance at no additional cost. In my experience, most of north america has a telecom that provides long distance within the continental USA at no extra charge, so you should have no issues there.

Also, I'd like to mention that VoIP (Mic & Speakers) is standard as an audio integration option. Both telephone and VoIP are included with your basic subscription package at no additional charge. Each attendee may choose between all the options you've included for that event when they join the live session.
