GoToWebinar Certificate For Recording Viewers

This is a really COOL feature!!! Two questions: 1) Will the certificate generate for users that do not attend the "live" webinar, but view the recording? 2) If the answer to #1 is "yes", then can the user fast forward to the end of the recording and a certificate is generated? We hope not. We'd like to hear that the certificate only generates if a user attends the entire "live" webinar -- or the user listens to the entire recording. If you could clarify for us, we would be so appreciative! Thank you!!!!

Hi there,

We have an urgent need for viewers of the recording to receive a certificate. Please allow this! We also need the certificate to state the length of the webinar ie. 1 hr or 2 hrs (which could be solved if it was customizable) but without this we will have to switch to a different provider. I really don't want to switch!! Every other ability with gotowebinar is much better than the competition, but this one is extremely important since 85% of viewers watch a recording.

For regular cloud recordings, we don't turn these into simulated-live events after the broadcast, and don't currently keep track of how long someone watches the video.

If a delegate misses the live webinar and watches the recording via the 'absentee' email, is there any way to provide them with a certificate of attendance?

To answer your question, GoToWebinar Certificates are only available to live Attendees, and cannot be generated on demand or for recording observers.
