Recording Editor

The video editor errors out when transferring the recording to the editor.

I click on the editor icon next to the recording, a new window opens to the Editor, it appears the recording is transferring to the Editor and after 5 seconds, this message appears: We apologize, but an error has occurred. Please click here to try again. When you "click here," the same things happens - 5 seconds of appearing that the recording is transferring and then the error message appears.

No, the file has not been changed at all - prior to or after attempting to upload it.

The file size is the same size as all of our recordings - in the 50-55MB range.

Something I just noticed is that once we edit a recording - which always includes cutting out content, which should make the file smaller - the file size grows to 244MBs. I find that quite odd, but that is a different issue altogether.

@learning Did you change the file at all before attempting the upload? Is the file size abnormally large?

It appears the behavior is isolated to this one recording.

I have never had issues with the Editor before. It has always worked as intended.

The recording is still in MP4 format.

Does this behavior present itself for every recording you try?

Did it used to work previously there?

Is the recording in MP4 format still?
