I am having problems connecting to my mac. It has a window virtual machine in it to access some programs Mac doesn't support. When I bring up the Logmein Client it tells me my antivirus status is unknown. Is it for the Mac side or is it for the windows side? If I need to install a different antivirus then do I need to uninstall the other first?

I wasn't aware that we could connect directly into VMs, so it's safe to assume this is the Mac install. If however you had something like Bootcamp installed where you run the native Windows OS on your Mac, then this might explain the messaging there.
