Is it possible to identify an agent's LogMeIn account from the URL used by the client to start a session? For example, if the client opened this link,
https://launch.getgo.com/launcher2/connected.html?token=e0-u_tVZbdx39bUFs1jZyXwkJ1JDIvP8Sqe9NdSg3vmerALzsI96sk......ClrW3tlyBE&locale=en&app=true
(abbreviated because it's quite long)
could an employee at LogMeIn use the "token" parameter to look up the corresponding agent?
Thanks
Yes, the problem was that someone impersonating an employee of McAfee convinced an elderly friend of mine to allow remote access to his computer using LogMeIn. Fraud ensued. I'd like to know the LogMeIn account of this fraudster. If I provide you the complete URL for the connection, will you investigate this account's activities and then terminate it?
Yes, it is possible to track an invitation link to share a desktop, through we do not currently have a formal process for this in Support. Was there any problem you observed?
