Mute single incoming audio feed

I am wondering if there is a way to mute a specific single incoming audio feed.

We have multiple panelists and organizers on a webinar (about 10-12) but 3 ( let call them A, B, C) are actually in the same room but on separate devices (COVID + staff who need assistance etc - this cannot be changed).

It is annoying for one member (C) who can physcially hear the other 2 (A and speaking in the room and then 1/2 second later hears them through the speaker on the computer. Noise cancelling headphones are not an option in this case. Is there a way that A and B can be muted on the webinar for C but not for the rest of the webinar. It is not an option to share a webcam/microphone in this case, everyone needs to be unique. We all recognize this isn't really the intended use of the software, but we are in a unique situation.

It is too bad you can't have C wear headphones instead of using the computer speakers.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your reply. I agree with your first statement but wanted to check the community in case they had other work arounds.

A and B are currently using a gaming style headset, while C is using an external mic. We cannot mix the audio together as we want to maintain the unique speaker feature on the webinar "A is talking".

The Audio physics were a challenge but other than the 1/2 second echo we are all good on feed back now.

I am fairly confident we don't have another option given our situation I just wanted to check.

Headsets would be the proper tool, but if they are not willing to do that, then you might be out of luck.

Are A, B, and C using internal microphones or external?

and mix them together and run them into GoTo on computer A. Then use the speakers from only computer A.

For the GoTo on computer B and C, turn off the sound, mute the mics and speakers.

Keeping these people at least 6 feet apart should help in the audio physics, since now there are three microphones that can pick up the same sound, but at a slight delay.

A, B, and C can all be watching their own computer screen and listening to the webinar through computer A speakers. All three of their mics are now together, so they need to keep quiet when A, B, or C is talking.
