According to customer support information and trials, only Chrome seems to be optimised for breakout rooms. This overcomplicates both the participant's and the organizer's user journey and leads to confusion / malfunction of online events (worst case).
As breakout rooms are the main feature for our decision pro GoToTraining, having breakout rooms work reliably (= guaranteed) with most common browsers (i.e. Edge, Firefox, Safari) would be a top priority. Other providers such as Zoom are not reliable on any type of browser, so I would think that it should be a feasible thing to implement sooner rather than later.
Is this planned to be implemented any time soon or are there already more browsers with which breakout rooms are guaranteed to be working?
