Hearing the presentation but not seeing it......

We've just encountered an issue where a delegate trying to enter into a GoToTraining session could hear the presenter, and other delegates, but couldn't see the presentation. Instead the screen just shows the title of session, the time etc and instructions on microphone and speakers. There is no option to press anything else, they couldnt scroll up or down. They were using the browser not the app and they were in Chrome.

We have discovered there are issues with breakout groups when they use the app so we ask everyone to log in via the browser.

Can anyone advise why this happened and what the resolution is?

We have encountered this once or twice as well. The only way we've been able to fix it is to have the person log out and back in. That has worked for us.

My students had this problem repeatedly. Especially if they had bad internet connections.
First, if they are on a VPN, have them try logging in without it.

Second have them refresh their browser. It is a "try, try, and try again" thing. They will fall out of their groups in a breakout session and will need to refresh if they wind up in the wrong group (the moderator has no ability to move them once the breakout is started.
Some students tried the new Microsoft Edge last week (7/15/2020) and that worked as well or better than Google Chrome in the breakouts for some students.
