Controlling attendee webcams during a meeting/webinar

Hi there

I am trying to setup our annual conference and would like to see the main presenter as a big screen and all of the attendees around the edge in smaller boxes. However, I need to be able to control their mute function.

Unfortunately I am completely new to this and not sure how to do either of the above. I have practiced both meetings and webinars and still can't figure it out!!

and for a webinar Participant to share their webcam, you have to promote them to be a Panelist or Organizer, and there is a limit of 25 total Panelist and Organizers at one time.

Also, there is a limit of 25 webcams on at the same time.

@Petpals Webcam, Desktop, and Microphone sharing are always going to be 'by request' of GoTo software and event hosts. This is to preserve the privacy of those in attendance when they want it. In your case, you can send the request to un-mute or share a webcam to someone, then they must accept that request by releasing / sharing their own feed in the GoTo control panel.

Probably not, but I will be thinking about this today.

How many attendees will you have? Do you need to see all of them.

GoTo is set up to show the attendees on one side of the main screen, not all around, so this becomes a new physics problem.

Using fancy video switching equipment could do something like this, but we will put our heads together and see if we can do this on the cheap.
