Gotowebinar - Share Screen and Webcam Simultaneously

Hello,

New to this board. But I have a webinar with Gotowebcast tscheduled for tomorrow and would like to simultaneously share my Mac webcam and screen using chrome.

Is this possible?

Our technical team at this point can share either the webcam or the screen, but not both simultaneously. It would be just awesome to be able to deliver the workshop with both a live webcam video as well as a shared screen.

Any thoughts?

(As a not so good work around I know that I can show a live QuickTime window on my screen. But the lag is too great and distracting).

I this this will work.

I can set up two Macs ...

Mac A: Host the keynote presentation. This is the presenter computer.

Mac B: Host the webcam. This is where I would speak.

The organizers would then show my video (Mac and my presentation (Mac A) simultaneously.

Would that work?

Only one person at a time can be the Presenter. The Presenter can share their screen with the audience. The Organizer can change the Presenter from one person to another.

Separate from that, all of the Panelists and Organizers can share their webcam. You can have up to 25 webcams showing at one time.

So in your example, you could have one person be the Presenter and share their screen and not their webcam, and another person showing their webcam.

And to take that one step even further--

Person A could be the Presenter and share their screen with the audience.

Person B could share their webcam.

You could set it up so that Person B can click their mouse/keyboard and advance the slides on Person A's computer.

So do you have two presentation machines?

One that is displaying a keynote presentation.

And another that is showing the webcam video?

In GoToWebinar you can have up to 25 webcams on at one time and be sharing a screen at the same time.

I always have a second computer next to me connected to the webinar, so I can see what the audience sees.
