Hello,
We would like to transmit audio from our computer (integrated in the PowerPoint presentation) to the participants in GoToWebinar. Is this possible
@Patrice16 You can expect this functionality to become available for webinars in the coming months. Currently only GoToMeeting has the capability.
There is not an official way to do it, but GoTo is working on a solution that will make it work like the competition.
There are many workarounds using the Windows sound control panel or third-party software. Hardware solutions include cables running between the speaker output and the microphone input, or using external sound mixers.
All of this has been documented here in these discussion boards.
For all of these solutions, you still have to deal with the GoTo audio filter that makes music sound bad. So, if your audio is just someone talking, then one of these solutions might work for you.
Another option is to record the PowerPoint show as a video, and then play back the video during the webinar. Rather than playing the video from your computer, you upload the video to the webinar ahead of time, then during the webinar, you choose the time you want it to be played. This method will play back music if that is part of the audio.
