I cannot log into a sleeping remote computer. My first attempt is rejected because the computer is asleep. The second attempt is rejected because the awakened computer thinks I am already logged in. I am talking about a computer that started several hours ago and then went to sleep, so I have never actually been on it.
The only way to wake a sleeping computer currently is if you're on the same local area network.
No, we are about 1200 miles apart. I am the only user. My boss changed settings today to stop it from sleeping and I am in successfully today,
@Ricspung Is the Host PC on the same local network as your client PC?
Are there others within your network that successfully wake their Hosts in this way?
