Kindly help me out with this since I will lose my job and client details if I can't access my Lastpass account. Here's what happened.
The LastPass app is already installed on my Windows 10 PC and I used to access it regularly. To my surprise, today when I tried logging in, it initially first logged in to the dashboard successfully for a microsecond and then logged me out instantly with this message -
Try again or Look for an email from LastPass to verify it's you.
I never faced such an issue with LastPass before as I type my master password and it takes me to the dashboard without giving any fuss.
And then I realize the email I used with Lastpass is no longer valid since I abandoned the email long ago. It was an old one with I no longer use and I can't access it anymore. I agree that I should have changed it within Lastpass before discarding the same, but you know how techy laymen like us do these kinds of silly mistakes every time.
I need your help badly guys, if I can't access my LastPass - I'll be left with my sensitive information, and will cost me my job, clients, money, and what not! I just don't want to think about it!
Here are some points that I want to reiterate
1. Lastpass app is already installed on my Windows 10 laptop, hence this is supposed to be a trusted device. I am not trying to access LastPass from a new device that I haven't used before.
2. I have my master password
3. I can't access the email associated with LastPass
