Videplayer not loading or endless buffering after a couple minutes

We're using GoToWebinar for about a year now. So far it worked great, we produced our Webinar, had quite some clients watch them and then put the recordings on our Homepage with the share links.

Since mid december it doesn't work anymore. The recordings either just buffer for ever if you click anywhere in the video (jump from 0:00 to 5:00) or it just won't stop buffering after about 5-11 minutes. Even recordings that used to work perfectly won't work now.

We tried different browsers, even our clients tried different browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome). We also have some cases regarding this problem open but won't receive an answer to them.

Does anybody have a fix for this problem or knows a solution?

Hi Ash,

I / we tried it both ways. Directly with the share-link from the GoToWebinar and from our homepage (it's the same link for both places).

I have already an open case but it took some time to get an answer so I thought I'd ask if anybody else has a similar problem. I received an answer yesterday but no fix so far. We also tried the links on different computers and different browsers. We have also received the same feedback from our clients.

Are the problem recordings playing directly from your GoTo account, or are they experiencing errors only when linked to your web site?

Over the past couple weeks there have been Amazon Web Server disruptions that affected many services across the industry, though these should all be resolved currently. If your problem persists when testing the video playback from a different PC, please click my Community name, then send a private message with your contact info for a follow up from Germany Support.
