it is very difficult to maintain a second password field - Review

hi,

I have created a password with two password fields or had it created automatically, "passwd" and "passwd1"

Whenever I manually change one of the passwords in the advanced settings, the change is not saved. Both passwords are overwritten with the password from the field of the main input mask.

I need to delete the password field in the main input mask. Then it works.

Then lastpass also deletes the username. So I also need to create a user field in the advanced settings.

Then lastpass enters the user and the password (passwd) itself back into the main fileds.

If you press "Save" now, both password fields will be overwritten again with the first passwd.

Too bad these are mistakes from my point of view. Apparently, there is only one password internally in Lastpass, but several can be created.

the point is to fill out a form with a user and two password fields as quickly as possible.

Your second method is exactly what I'm doing, with the problems just described.

Hi @jbn1, thanks for sharing this feedback!

It may be cleanest to save the second password as a separate vault entry. When filling, both options should appear and you can select which credential you want to use to log in.

Alternatively, you can add a second password to one vault entry by opening your vault > clicking the wrench icon on the credential you want to edit > clicking the wrench icon on the 'Edit Password' screen > selecting + Add Form Field. If you choose the Field Type of password, you should be able to save two passwords for one username.
