Unable to establish Logmeinrescue session with server 2008. Server connects to logmein123.com, gets pin code, chat window comes up. Start session on tech end.
Now, if I don't click restart as system service, I can connect. But I lose a bunch of functionality, including reboots.
If I click restart as system service, the service restarts and I can verify that it is running through services.msc, but if I try to start a remote control session I get a denied at the console end with no message on the server.
I've tried shutting off the windows firewall with advanced security, as well as creating exemptions for the logmein gateway and port. No change.
I've also tried saving the logmein applet on the desktop and running it as an administrator; no change.
UAC is disabled.
Here's some excerpts from the console window:
1:23 PM Waiting for customer permission to remote control desktop.1:23 PM Customer has denied desktop remote control.1:23 PM Requesting Dashboard information.1:23 PM Waiting for customer permission to view system information.1:23 PM Customer has denied viewing system information.1:26 PM Requesting Process information.1:26 PM Waiting for customer permission to view system information.1:26 PM Customer has denied viewing system information.
Why can't I get the remote session working?
Thanks.
