Remote Anti-virus support

Is there any way to run a anti-virus/spyware scan remotely if the customer does not have any anti virus software on their pc? If so, can anyone give me info on how to remove/repair the virus/spyware?

I haven't tried using Avast Bart CD yet, although I am very familiar working with Bart Cd's, and Avast is one of my alternatives for AV's

But, I just don't get it; I'll guarantee you that this would be my greatest breakthrough if you can make it clear, here a few questions:

1. When you have customers that don't have AV, you just use Avast Bart CD?

- are you at the customer’s site, like facing the computer so that you're able to insert the CD and boot up from there?

- Or just connected remotely?

- How to boot up from Bart CD if you are only connected to the customer using LogMeIn?

2. How to blank the screen?

- is this available in LogMeIn Rescue?

When I have customers that don't have anti-virus I use avast! Bart CD. http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_bart_cd.html

While connected to the customer. What I do is copy over the files needed to scan. I also blank the screen so they don't see what i'm using. Their are other applications out there but I find that this one works very well for me.
