Copy Phone Configuration

I am starting to build our office with the new Poly E450, but the button programming is tedious, and I am going to be doing over 30 phones in the coming weeks, some with sidecars. There must be a way to copy or move a configuration for the buttons from phone to phone? Am I missing something here?

I was sent a message and no one never replied back to me when I told them I would like to set that up?

Copy config is a common telephony tool used on PBX's and the cloud lacking that capability is a bit cumbersome, this is a feature that will definitely have use over larger organizations. I am only deploying 20 devices, I cannot imagine trying to deploy more than that.

@KCTAdmin I have been talking to the team and we have an easier solution, I will send you a message separately. We plan to introduce device templates in a future update.

You have a link or a workaround URL for that legacy PBX? I am familiar with the my.jive.com/PBX but I am not familiar with any older or legacy PBX beyond that.

Hi @KCTAdmin welcome to the Community.

Device templates are planned for a future update.

There is not official way to do this, but may want to try configuring one phone, and then try using the Import tool on the PBX Legacy. Once you configure one of the phones, you can export the file, copy and paste the button configuration of that device and paste it on the other devices, then import the file back.
