When you click the blank screen button the screen on the remote side flickers and the button unchecks.
Yes the pc is fully updated.

This article outlines issues that occurred with screen blanking after a Microsoft update. You need to be on Windows 10 v2004 and later and the 4.1.0.14344 build of the host software. Can you verify you meet those requirements? Thanks.

When you click the blank screen box it checks and then the remote screens windows flicker off and then check box is unchecked.

I do not see any known issues with screen blanking. Could you tell me a bit more about the situation? What type of computer/OS (Windows version if on a PC) are you on? What video card are you currently using?
